This private equity backed UK and European food producer was looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer to assume responsibility for Operations, IT and Supply Chain. The successful candidate would be tasked with establishing key strategic objectives, re-engineering systems and production processes and ensuring the successful delivery of a group–wide ERP roll out. The objective was to drive efficiencies across the business in order to deliver an exit within 5-years.
A proven track record of restructuring underperforming business units and driving operational efficiencies, resulting in the return to sustainable profitability was deemed essential. The ability to implement bottom up budgeting, from bill of material to board summary, was key along with the successful implementation of key pricing processes and the improvement of group wide pricing capabilities and governance.
The successful candidate was offered the post following a European wide search process and brought an exceptional track-record of success in both FMCG and Private Equity to our client.
