The brief was to identify a candidate who would create an industry leading omni-channel proposition consistent with rapidly evolving consumer demand, whilst respecting and building on the heritage of our clients brand.
Working closely with the CEO, the successful candidate was to create a compelling digital vision and implement the strategy and technology solution to meet that vision. The ideal candidate would possess a proven track record of delivering significant contribution to revenue and EBITDA through the implementation of leading edge technology in a traditional retail environment. The brief extended not only to technology but also through warehousing, logistics and fulfilment.
Following a rigorous European wide search, a shortlist of candidates was delivered, with the successful candidate being secured from one of the UK’s leading retailers who had developed an exceptional reputation for their online presence and innovative multi-channel consumer engagement strategies.
